Rafael Nadal & Xisca still very much together

Recently there have been many talks especially from the Spanish media who attributed Rafael Nadal's performance at Miami to his separation with girlfriend Xisca.

And I guess we haven't seen Nadal with Xisca for many months, since their last year's vacation in Mauritius.

But the truth is, Nadal and Xisca are still very much together.

In fact the beautiful young woman was in Monaco earlier this week attending an exhibition match at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters between her man and Andy Murray (check out the photos below).

Hope that clears the rumour.

Rafael Nadal's rehab in Mauritius

It's off season break for Rafael Nadal but it seems that he's not really taking things slow.

Instead of resting and recuperating from his knee injury, Nadal was seen participating in a resort's array of activities during his holiday with girlfriend Xisca in Mauritius.

Nadal flexed his muscles while riding a 'doughnut', snorkeling, swimming and running along the beach, showing no sign of the injury which prevented him from playing in the Davis Cup in Argentina.

His fellow Spaniard team mates will be playing against the Argentines tonight in a final match.

Xisca the new fashionista shopping alone in Paris

When the boyfriend (in this case it's Rafael Nadal) is getting all the attention on court...

Or out for early training...


What would you do if you are in Paris, the city of love?

Of course you go shopping because Paris is also the city of fashion!

I wonder why Xisca is walking alone in the city.

Nadal should consider beef up the security of his girlfriend because Xisca is a popular figure now and especially in a foreign country during a big tournament like Paris Masters.

Rafael Nadal and Xisca arrived Paris in style

Down the Line reported on Rafael Nadal and girlfriend Maria Francesca Perello or better known as Xisca arriving in Paris in a rather stylish manner earlier this week.

Gone are the t-shirt and khaki shorts we sometimes see when Nadal arrived at the airports for tournaments.

Both Nadal and Xisca look absolutely stunning with those snuggly, stylish scarves!

Later that evening, the lovely young couple headed for a dinner with Nadal continued his argyle ways with the same scarf.

Perhaps that's a gift from Xisca?

Back to business at the BNP Paribas Masters, Nadal who is last year's runner-up finds himself in a quarter of the draw dominated by qualifiers – of the six players looking to secure a spot in the main tournament over the weekend, five are in the Majorcan's section.

Nadal will meet the surging Gael Monfils next up.

Will the real Nadal's girlfriend please stand up?

We have heard quite a lot of rumours about Rafael Nadal and Ana Ivanovic, from flying together on a private jet to the recent Ana's Mallorcan escapade.

Although Nadal did not spend time with Ana, her team and family here in this pool side picture, they did meet up in Mallorca, Nadal's hometown and he was also back there before the Toronto Masters.

However, fans believe that there's no chemistry between the two players. Instead Nadal is just being a chaperon for his best pal, Bartolomé Salva-Vidal, who was later seen hitting with Ana at the Raquet Club in Palma de Mallorca.

Perhaps the following pictures will brush off Nadal-Ivanovic romance rumour which isn't true.

Xisca, Nadal's girlfriend was seen here spending the holiday with him. She was also at the recent Toronto airport and at the Rogers Cup tournament.

Hmm, I wonder if Xisca did inspire Nadal to win at Toronto, no?

Rafael Nadal secret girlfriend revealed

Bad news for all Rafael Nadal's female fans.

Actually this isn't new but finally Uncle Toni revealed that Nadal is dating Xisca, a stunning dark-haired girl he once went to school with.

Twenty-year-old Maria Francisca Perello, who comes from Nadal’s home town in Majorca, has been dating the player for three years (if some of you still haven't know).

But Xisca keeps away from the spotlight and rarely watches her boyfriend play, partly because she does not wish to distract him.

Uncle Toni said, "I guess a lot of girls will be upset to know the truth."

"My nephew always maintained he was single. It was a well-kept secret but actually his girlfriend is waiting for him in Majorca."

Described by friends as ‘an intelligent girl from a good local family’, Xisca is about to take her important exams in business at university in Majorca’s capital, Palma.

Her cousin Maria Perello Limones said, "She is a straightforward, no-nonsense girl not interested in glamour and fame."

"You won’t see her rolling out of a nightclub or laden down with designer bags after a shopping spree."

That is just as well, because despite his wealth and fame, Nadal is a simple hometown boy who likes relaxing on the beach, fishing and sharing long meals with his family.

He still lives with his parents and sister in their luxury apartment. Friend Pedro Hernadez explains, "Raf and Xisca are both very shy and ordinary people who like to live simply."

"They are not at all interested in a celebrity lifestyle. They get together when the tournaments are over. That’s how Raf winds down."

When back home in Manacor, an unfashionable industrial town in the heart of Majorca, Nadal and Xisca while away the days at the beach in nearby Porto Cristo. They also spend a lot of time with each other’s families and Xisca is very close to Nadal’s grandmother.

Earlier this year it was suggested that Nadal was infatuated with Danish tennis sensation Caroline Wozniacki, 18. But the relationship has been denied by both Nadal and Wozniacki.

Indeed, his grandfather, also Rafael, confirmed, "I saw him and Xisca just before he flew to London and they looked great together."
