Albert Costa celebrates too hard

Spain Davis Cup captain Albert Costa was admitted to a hospital in Barcelona after complaining of heart problems.

He was released hours later and was at home resting. Costa has no history of heart problems, said federation spokesman Pedro Hernandez, who put the episode down to stress.

He led led Spain to its fourth Davis Cup title with a 5-0 sweep of the Czech Republic last Sunday.

Finally the IOC has approved adding mixed doubles event to the Olympics.

This new category will be part of the lineup for the 2012 London Games, where the tournament will be played on grass at Wimbledon.

Rendy and Hsieh

Asia has some very good mixed double pairs like India's Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi (2009 Australian Open champs) as well as Taiwan's Rendy Lu Yen-hsun and Hsieh Su-wei (Asian Hopman Cup winners).

Lindsay Davenport defends Tiger Woods' wife

Lindsay Davenport told Entertainment Tonight that the picture being painted on her friend Elin Nordegren (Tiger Woods' wife) by the media as an aggressive woman is COMPLETELY false.

Tiger and Elin in happier times
"Certainly she did not go after [Woods] physically and go after him with a golf club. That is not what happened," Davenport said.

"She's incredibly hurt by what has gone on, but she handles herself with class, and she's working it out as best she can."

"I don't think Elin particularly cares what people think about her... Although she is having a tough time, she's really trying to get through it for the kids."
Davenport has a home near Tiger's house in Orange County, California and described Elin as "very loving, very loyal" and "level-headed."

People who think that Elin is a man beater should go get a life.

If I know my husband is f***ing 11 other women (or more), I will get a knife, not a golf club.

Now, I wish Roger Federer has something to say about his friend Tiger :D

Shopping for X'mas yet?

X'mas and New Year are coming soon!

Have you started shopping for the holiday season?

Well, the Radwanska sisters did.

Agnieszka and her younger sister Urszula recently shopped for the needy people back in their homeland in Krakow, Poland.

The sisters are shopping at *you know where*.

Shopping can be a really tough job for some people.

Is this food tray earth friendly? (HCFoo: It's not a food tray, isn't it?)

Agnieszka looks away and expects lil's sis Urszula to foot the bill.

Agnieszka quickly grab a bag of chips before they leave.

Davis Cup: Spain's win is perfect therapy for HCFoo to blog again

My blogging mood is pretty much determined by Rafael Nadal's performance and success.

So, to know that the Spanish team won in the Davis Cup final and Nadal is indeed a huge boost for me to blog again.

Rafael Nadal closed out this season with a bang by earning two points for Spain in the Davis Cup final.

Here are the final scores:

Rafael Nadal (ESP) def. Tomas Berdych (CZE) 7~5, 6-0, 6-2
David Ferrer (ESP) def. Radek Stepanek (CZE) 1-6, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, 8-6
Feliciano Lopez/Fernando Verdasco (ESP) def. Tomas Berdych/Radek Stepanek (CZE) 7-6(7), 7-5, 6-2
Rafael Nadal (ESP) def. Jan Hajek (CZE) 6-3, 6-4
David Ferrer (ESP) def. Lukas Dlouhy (CZE) 6-4, 6-2

Hopefully 2010 will be a better year for Nadal after this win.. perhaps he could start by defending his Australian Open title :D
