Romanian tennis player Simona Halep, 17, who won the junior 2008 French Open, has announced that she will have a breast reduction later this year.
Halep says her voluptuous 34DD bust are hindering her game and that she'd like to carry less weight on the tennis court.
“The breasts make me uncomfortable when I play. It's the weight that troubles me - my ability to react quickly," Halep said.
She’s been tipped as one of the tennis stars of the future after winning a host of junior titles and a place in the final of the junior French Open last year but says the weight of her breasts slow her down and could cost her vital points.

Australian tennis player Brydan Klein, 19, has been fined the maximum possible amount by the ATP for racially abusing a South African opponent during a tournament in Eastbourne, UK.Klein was accused of calling Raven Klaasen a "f***ing kaffir" during the clash at a tournament in Eastbourne.And despite issuing a public apology, the ATP handed down a $14,000 fine to Klein, saying further penalties could arise out of a full investigation.In a statement, Klein said he deeply regretted his actions.
Raven Klassen"I would like to clarify my position on an incident that occurred during my match against Raven Klaasen in the last round of qualifying for the AEGON International at Eastbourne on June 14," Klein said.
"During the second set, after losing a point, I audibly used a racial slur.
"It was not my intention to racially vilify my opponent or cause offence to anybody else and I am deeply embarrassed that I behaved in this manner.
"I deeply regret my serious error in judgment in using this word and I am very sorry for the offence this has caused.
"After the match I called my opponent Raven and apologised for what had happened and also apologised for any offence caused to his support team.
"This incident is now currently being investigated by the ATP and as such I have been advised not to make any further comment."
Klaasen’s coach Stephan de Kock later accused Klein of spitting in his direction during the match, which Klein eventually won.South African tennis bosses were outraged by Klein's alleged behaviour, and lodged formal complaints with the international and Australian tennis federations.Tennis Australia said in a statement it had suspended Klein from the Australian Institute of Sport Pro Tour Program and could impose further sanctions after an investigation.

World no.1 and top seed, Rafael Nadal has announced he will not defend his Wimbledon title as he's not fully fit to play.
"I’m here and I'm just not 100%. I'm better than what I was a couple of weeks ago but I don’t feel right," Nadal told a packed press conference on Friday evening at the All England Club.
"To not play Wimbledon is one of the toughest decisions of my career."
After suffering a shock defeat in the French Open to Robin Soderling, Nadal received treatment on his knees in Barcelona and skipped the Wimbledon tune-up at Queen’s Club in an effort to be fit for the Grand Slam.
He was diagnosed with tendinitis in both quadriceps tendons as well as a small amount of fluid on the kneecaps."I tried everything. I didn't feel terrible but also not close to my best. When I enter a tournament my goal is winning and my feeling right now is I'm not ready to win."
"It's very painful for me but I can't play at the tournament this year. It's tough but it is what it is."
Nadal's absence caused a reshuffle in the men’s singles draw. The 5th seed Juan Martin del Potro replaced Nadal at the top of the draw.
Nadal revealed that he had been playing with considerable pain and he didn't know how long he would be out of tennis.
But he said he expected to fully recover from his knee problems and that he would have a "long career"."I played with some problems on the knee for the last few months. I've been making efforts to play week after week."
"The truth is that sportsmen always play with pain and don't know where the limit is, where you can get to. I think I reached that limit now."
"I will work very hard to comeback as soon as possible. One of the problems is I’m thinking more about the knees than what is happening on court and it’s very difficult to play like that."
When Nadal was asked about his many fans and how disappointed they would be that he was not appearing at Wimbledon, the 23-year-old replied: "no more than me".
Nadal also said he was not concerned that his absence would open the door for Roger Federer to reclaim the number one world ranking."If I lose the number one ranking I’m going to accept it like the four years I was number two and work hard to improve and recover."
As a fan who has been supporting Nadal for so many years (since 2003), I think I don't mind supporting him as the world no. 2 all over again.
In fact, the happier times was when he was playing as the second best in the world.
Hopefully he will recover fast and come back stronger to complete a career Grand Slam.
