Rendy Lu Yen-hsun visits Adidas boutique at Roland Garros

Clay court may not be Rendy Lu Yen-hsun's favourite surface but it doesn't mean that he will take the tournament lightly.

Always known as a hard working player, Rendy is looking set to face off with his opponent in the first around against Frenchman Jeremy Chardy.

He posted quite a number of pictures on his Facebook fan page including a recent visit to the Adidas boutique at Roland Garros.

According to the post, the Adidas team has their own suite at the hotel where all their sponsored players will be there to pick up their gears. Usually the players will walk away with at least 2 bags of Adidas stuff.

Same motivation for Rafael Nadal every year

According to Tennis.com, Rafael Nadal said that he's going into the French Open just like every other years.

"I am coming here with motivation of every year with the illusion to play well. But I don't going to be more motivated because I have six and I can win seven. And I was not more motivated when I arrived here in 2005 than today. I was not more motivated in 2010 when I lose in 2009. The motivation always is the same. Sometimes you lose; sometimes you win. That's the sport and that's the game."

In the latest photo update on his Facebook page, Nadal posted a picture of him relaxing at the hotel's terrace with friends.

Kids' Day at Roland Garros

It's Roland Garros Kids' Day today. As usual there are quite a lot of events happening on the eve of the French Open.

Here are some pictures to summarize the events.

Novak Djokovic becomes an umbrella boy during his exhibition match with Ryan Harrison.

 Caroline Wozniacki, Sabine Lisicki, Na Li and French Pauline Parmentier play an exhibition match on the Philippe Chatrier-central court.

  Juan Martín del Potro becomes the umpire for an exhibition match where Roger Federer and Sebastien Grosjean against French Nicolas Escude and Fabrice Santoro.

Serena Williams joins DJ Big Ali and DJ Bob Sinclar at the turntables on the Philippe Chatrier-central court.

Retirees Grosjean and Santoro make a special appearance at the Kids' Day.

Local hero Jo-Wilfried Tsonga meets the fans.

Xavier Malisse enjoys beach tennis at Roland Garros.
