Rafael Nadal defeated Juan Ignacio Chela 7-5 7-5 to setup a semifinal showdown with Andy Roddick at the Pacific Life Open. I watched the match and personally I think Nadal could have done better. He must improve on his game and avoid making too many unforced errors if he wants to beat Roddick.On the other hand, Nadal and Roddick have confirmed to play in ATP Thailand Open in September. It will be the first time Thai fans will have a chance to see Nadal in action. I'm actually thinking of going to Bangkok to watch Nadal play. Besides Nadal and Roddick, Marcos Baghdatis and Andy Murray also confirmed their participation.
