You might have heard this already but I think I'll just make a short mention anyway.Mario Ancic has decided to hang his racquet and practice law instead.
Plagued by injuries and illness during his tennis career, Ancic confirmed at a news conference in his hometown of Split yesterday that he was retiring after 10 years because of a back injury.
Nicknamed “Super Mario” by his fans, Ancic has won three ATP during his tennis career and reached a career-high ranking of no. 7 in 2006.
