Ana Ivanovic graces cover of Vanidades magazine

Initially I was a bit reluctant to post this picture because it was heavily Photoshop-ed.

However I thought the behind-the-scene photo shoot video is relevant.

You can see the inside pages of this June edition on Ana's official website.

Personally I prefer the natural Ana in the picture below taken during her practice before the French Open next week.

Ana Ivanovic ready to make splashing comeback

Once ranked outside the world top 50, Ana Ivanovic who has dropped 5kg and found form (currently ranked no.17) is optimistic to make a splashing comeback in the women's tennis.

On the eve of the Australian Open, Ivanovic revealed to The Sunday Telegraph that her split from Australian golfer Adam Scott in the middle of last year affected her game.

Looks like the bad times are over.

The Serbian beauty looks cheerful and radiant in the recent photos and video.

She took part in a water bombing contest - a bet with a New Zealand-based sports reporter - at Melbourne's Hilton on the Park.

Ana Ivanovic: A WTA champ turns full time WAG

Ana Ivanovic has been travelling with boyfriend Adam Scott for his golf tournament for quite some time now.

She was in Singapore recently and currently spotted at the 2009 Australian Masters at Kingston Heath Golf Club.

These pictures were taken during Round 3 last Saturday.

Looks like she's enjoying being a full time WAG rather than going back to practice court to prepare for 2010.

  • Belgians Yanina Wickmayer, US Open semifinalist, and Xavier Malisse have been called before the nti-doping tribunal for not fulfilling their anti-doping responsibilities. Ana Ivanovic & Adam Scott hold hands in NYC... but is that a baby bump?

Women's Tennis Blog posted a very interesting photo of Ana Ivanovic and Adam Scott strolling the streets of NYC.

Do you think that is a baby bump Ivanovic is sporting in this picture, or it’s just a bad camera angle?

If the picture is accurate, then it may be sooner than we all think.

US Open Day 2 Wrap-up: Safina survives close shave, Ivanovic not so lucky

Top seed and world no. 1 Dinara Safina barely survived a 2 hours and 35 minutes first round match to beat no. 167 Olivia Rogowska, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4!

Meanwhile, it was not so lucky for Ana Ivanovic who made her second straight early exit from the US Open, this time falling 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7) to Kateryna Bondarenko in the opening round.

Earlier, Svetlana Kuznetsova has advanced to the second round after a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Julia Goerges.

Jelena Jankovic who sees herself as a danger woman at the US Open also sailed through to the next round after defeating Roberta Vinci 6-2 6-3.

The night before, I managed to catch up with a couple of matches including the one between Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and American wildcard recipient Chase Buchanan.

Tsonga dominated the 18-year old 6-0, 6-2, 6-1 in a one-sided match.

Also advancing to the second round is Novak Djokovic, who lost to Federer in the 2007 final. The Serbian proved to be too powerful for Ivan Ljubicic by defeating him 6-3, 6-1, 6-3.

Second seed and world no.2 Andy Murray denied Ernests Gulbis by winning 7-5, 6-3, 7-5 in the featured night match on the Arthur Ashe Stadium court.

Ana Ivanovic, Caroline Wozniacki stop traffic in Toronto

Ana Ivanovic and Caroline Wozniacki were at the Yonge Street in Toronto yesterday to recreate the 1995 Agassi/Sampras Nike ad.

They actually played real exhibition match on the street.

Ivanovic won 7-3 in the friendly game. Now, it's time to win real matches.

TENNIS WATCH: The Hewitts, ATP & WTA's marriage in Cincinnati, Ivanovic's cutting cost, Safina's coconut, comeback Kim wins again

Australian weekly magazine New Idea has apologised to Lleyton Hewitt's wife Bec for labelling her brother Shaun Cartwright as her 'new lover' in an April news story.

The magazine surely have no idea that the Hewitts are still very much in love.

*******

The ATP and WTA events in Cincinnati will become a combined tournament in 2011 and will be held two weeks before the U.S. Open.

The current WTA and ATP events in Toronto and Montreal will remain in separate cities, but will occur during the same week, three weeks before the U.S. Open.

*******

Is Ana Ivanovic cutting cost due to her recent slump?
Speaking about her shrinking entourage, Ivanovic said, "Now I'm actually traveling with my mom mostly, and before I used to have four or five people. So I'm like, Where has everyone gone?"

"No, I feel really good, because also made me realise more thing on my own, what I'm doing and what helps me to play good, these kind of things, rather than relying on people telling me certain things."
*******

Recently Dinara Safina hurt her left hand while trying to open a coconut.

Safina said, "In Los Angeles, I would say I lost a bet with a coconut. I was trying to open a coconut, and actually didn't open very good because the knife slipped and it went straight into my hand.

Safina shoud ask Zeljko Krajan to do it instead.

*******

Kim Clijsters continues her successful comeback win by defeating Patty Schnyder 6-2, 7-5 in Cincinnati.

Clijsters who retired in May 2007 and gave birth to a daughter in February 2008, knocked out 12th-seeded Marion Bartoli in straight sets on Monday.

She is scheduled to meet 6th-seeded Svetlana Kuznetsova in the next round. Clijsters has won six of her seven matches against Kuznetsova.

If everything goes well, she will probably meet top-seeded Dinara Safina in the quarterfinal match.

*Yawn* Please wake me up when Ana Ivanovic is back on court

I tried to watch the Open Championship Round 1 on Thursday hoping to catch a glimpse of Ana Ivanovic on the green.

It didn't happen.

I fell asleep so fast I didn't even get to see Adam Scott making his swing.

Last night, the same thing happened to me again just after 5 minutes into the tournament.

Seriously, I don't know how long Ivanovic can stand watching golf... it's such a boring sport!

Even the pro golfers including Scott can't stand it sometimes...

Ana Ivanovic's fashion disaster on Day 2 at Barclays Scottish Open

I'm not a fashion expert but I do know what Ana Ivanovic was wearing at the Barclays Scottish Open on Day 2 was wrong!

Bring back those Burberry fashion (which apparently also loved by Adam Scott) on to the green!

By the way, guess what Ivanovic was holding under that jacket? Nope, it's not a gun.

It's just a banana ;)

Ana Ivanovic accompanies Adam Scott at Barclays Scottish Open

Ana Ivanovic was spotted accompanying golfer Adam Scott at the Scottish Open, Loch Lomond Golf Club this week!

Although she looked like fish out of water on the green but at least she was doing something sweet for Scott who was at the Wimbledon tournament recently for some of her matches.

The beautiful couple has been going out together since January but remain tight-lipped about their relationship.

Now I guess they are ready to tell the world.
