Elena Baltacha, the last British woman in Wimbledon yesterday found herself having to apologise for uttering an expletive that she did not remember.
She said, "Someone told me I said the F-word out loud, but I do not remember that. I shouted a few things, but they were in Russian."Baltacha will take on Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens with the hope of reaching the third round of Wimbledon and climbing into the world's top 100 for the first time.
"If I have offended anyone, then I am sorry."
