However I've been questioning the presence of Maria Sharapova's fiancé Sasha Vujacic who is missing from the Roland Garros this year.

There were talks about them getting married in November. The "rumour" was started by the Turkish media who mentioned that the nuptial will take place at Istanbul, where Vujacic is currently based.

Perhaps he has a busy schedule with his club, Anadolu Efes. However to miss the semifinal or even the final match where Sharapova could be playing would be devastating.

No doubt that Sharapova is at the top of her game right now and winning the French Open (and becoming the new world no.1) is highly possible. So, getting married at the peak of her career?   I have doubt until the marriage really take place.

Maria Sharapova engaged to LA Lakers' Sasha Vujacic!

The most eligible bachelorette in tennis is off the market.

Maria Sharapova's agent has confirmed that the tennis star is now engaged to LA Lakers' guard Sasha Vujacic

Vujacic popped the question to Sharapova on Tuesday night at his Manhattan Beach, California home.

The couple who has been dating for nearly a year were first spotted last November cuddling at a U2 concert in Los Angeles.

Love is all about give and take.

After spending a vacation in a small town of Udine, Italy where Maria Sharapova accompanied boyfriend Sasha Vujacic to his friend's wedding, it's time for the LA Lakers' guard to do something for the princess of tennis.

Maria Sharapova is officially dating LA Lakers' Sasha Vujacic

So, Maria Sharapova is officially done with Charlie Ebersol and now dating LA Lakers struggling backup guard Sasha Vujacic.

Speculation started after CNBC's Darren Rovell tweeted that "the two were seen cuddling up" during a U2 concert at the Rose Bowl.

Later Sharapova was spotted holding hands with her Serbian boyfriend (who was born in Slovenia), something which she has never done in public before. Huge PR boost for Vujacic!

Now that Sashapova has taken over the role from Klamar (Khloe Kardashian + LA Lakers Lamar Odom), most likely we'll see them often in gossip columns from now on.
