Ivanovic vs Sharapova: Battle of the tennis beauties

It is a very rare occasion that we can have a chance to see two tennis beauties in the same court fighting for the prestigious Grand Slam title. So, guys and guys, make sure you are in front of Star Sports this morning to catch the final between Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova. Too bad I have to miss this live match as I'm working today.

Last meeting: WTA Championships '07, Sharapova won 6-1, 6-2
Head-to-head: Ivanovic 2, Sharapova 2
Prediction: Ivanovic win in straight sets

Ivanovic is hoping to remain focussed throughout the match, having learned plenty from her experiences at Roland Garros, but she knows it won't be easy against Sharapova.

"I was in that situation once before and I know I was very emotional and I experienced lot of things during that final," she said. "That's something I have to take from it as a positive. Tomorrow, when I walk on the court, I know a little bit what to expect."

"So in that way I can deal with it. But, you know, I just don't want to get emotional. I want to just focus on my game and what I have to do, you know, to play like I played my previous matches and just think tennis and tactically."

"(I'm feeling) really good," Sharapova told reporters. "I feel really excited. I'm glad I get the chance to go out there again in the final and give myself another opportunity to be the champion here. I'm not going to worry about that (last year's result)."

"It's definitely great to see (Ivanovic's rise) because, you know, not only do you have to get up there and kind of prove yourself that you're one of the top players, but you have to maintain that level."

Battle on the dark side between Darth Federer and Nole Djoker

It will never be the same again on the dark side.

Darth Federer, the master of the dark side of the ATP force, has to accept his lost to Nole Djoker in straight sets.

The master has lost.

The Djoker has defeated the master.

It was a rare sight to see both players in black. You know what, it blended well with the blue tennis court.

It was an unbelievable results at the 2008 Australian Open as Roger Federer, the defending champion, was knocked out by Novak Djokovic. This is a result which I least expect from Djokovic. What more Djokovic will be battling against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Sunday for the prestigious Grand Slam.

So who you'll be rooting for? For me, of course my bet is on Djokovic. I want a revenge for my jedi, Rafael Nadal.

The most intimate celebration at the 2008 Australian Open

What is the best possible way to celebrate a win with your double partner? Ask Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra.

Perhaps a little bit of intimacy wouldn't hurt especially when your team have made it into the men's doubles final.

Tsonga - Muhammad Ali: Separated at birth?

I agree with Esther, that Jo-Wilfried Tsonga does resemble boxing legend, Muhammad Ali. See if you agree with me.
