Tommy Haas proves he's still got it after upsetting Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-1 in the final of the Gerry Weber Open to win his first title on grass.
Tommy Haas who once ranked no. 2 back in 2002 (currently no. 41), will be playing his first final since winning the 2007 Morgan Keegan Tennis Championshps in Memphis.

“He has a great touch; he rarely makes mistakes from the baseline. I served well and I tried to change the pace.”

Finally, Roger Federer decided to pull out of the Gerry Weber Open, his usual grass-court warm-up for Wimbledon, saying he is “overwhelmed” and “exhausted" after his French Open victory.“I sincerely apologize to the tournament organizers, my competitors, and my fans in Germany," Federer said Tuesday on his website.Federer has won the tournament in Halle five times, and four of those years he went on to win Wimbledon.
"I only hope they will understand that I still feel emotionally overwhelmed and exhausted by the incredible events of the past few days."
“It is hard for me to admit, but I simply cannot imagine giving my best effort in another tournament right away and I don’t want to risk injury if I am not 100 percent prepared."
