Serena Williams the cover athlete for EA's Grand Slam Tennis for Wii?

I think many of us are pretty anxious to get our hands on EA Sports's Grand Slam Tennis when it hits the store on June 18.

The game which is exclusively for Nintendo Wii will feature many stars from the court including current favorites like Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams to legendary players like John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg.

However EA Sports has yet to announce the cover athlete.

Video game examiner revealed that Serena Williams could have let the cat out of the bag.

In a recent video that was posted on Serena's website, she was at a photo shoot where she and her manager say that they were taking pictures for the cover of Grand Slam Tennis.

And speaking about 'revelation', here are some bootilicious photos of Serena hitting the Miami beach last weekend with sis Venus.

Dinara Safina set to be the new women's world no.1

Dinara Safina will take over from Serena Williams as women's world no.1 next week, the WTA announced today.

The 22-year-old Safina, whose brother Marat was the men's top player in the world in 2000, will replace Williams who has been on top for 11 consecutive weeks and 72 in all.

"It's a great honor to reach the No. 1 ranking and it is a dream that every girl who has ever wanted to play professional tennis shares," Safina said.

"It is even extra special for me since my brother Marat was able to reach the No. 1 ranking and I am happy to share this achievement with him."

Maria Sharapova: Hello Hollywood life, goodbye tennis life?

Maria Sharapova was spotted at Chateau Marmont with rumoured boyfriend Charlie Ebersol. She was attending a dinner thrown by her fashion partner Cole Haan.

With a glamorous blue dress, slicked hair and motorcycle chain, looks like Ms Sharapova is getting more comfortable with her Hollywood life rather than hitting the balls on tennis court.

I really hope the rumour about her retirement isn't true.

Rendy Lu launches Rafael Nadal's perfume Lanvin L'Homme Sport in Taiwan

Asia's no.1 tennis player Rendy Lu Yen-Hsun made an appearance at the special launch of Rafael Nadal's new perfume Lanvin L'Homme Sport at a fitness centre in Taiwan today.

Guess what, Rendy even had to dress like Nadal at the event :D
