Maria Sharapova hops aboard a red double-decker in London

Maria Sharapova was happy to announce on her Facebook that she has made it on a red double-decker after so many years.

She was supposedly looking for a black cab but ended up on the English bus.

Lately Sharapova has become more humble despite her huge success this year. I wouldn't say that Sasha Vujacic has changed her because her fiance has somehow "disappeared" from her life.

Regarding the Wimbledon draw, Sharapova will play against Australian Anastasia Rodionova in the first round at SW19 starting next week.

Venus Williams traps in car after havoc evening at pre-Wimbledon party

Apparently it wasn't all smooth at the WTA Tour pre-Wimbledon players' party.

Strong winds during that evening had caused a sponsor's board outside Sir Richard Branson's event to topple, landing on one unsuspecting bystander, and then hit a sponsored car carrying Venus Williams.

The former Wimbledon champion had to remain inside the car while organisers removed the board before she could head back to her hotel.
