Agnieszka Radwanska gets high fashion makeover
How do you know when a tennis player is already up there? When she is winning back to back titles and getting a high fashion makeover.
This is obviously happening to Agnieszka Radwanska who is currently ranked no.4 in the world.
Radwanska recently launched a new website and it features some interesting photos of the Polish player. Hope there will be more to come.

Work it, girl, work it!

Don't you think Jankovic make a great high fashion model with that 'quirky' attribute and memorably unusual face?

Rendy Lu Yen-Hsun, the coverboy in "Next Man Magazine"
Thanks, Esther for this tips.
Rendy Lu Yen-Hsun (盧彥勳) is best remembered for beating Andy Murray in the first round at the Beijing Olympics 2008.
Right after the Olympics, Rendy accepted an interview and photo shooting from the Next Man Magazine.
Rendy resembles Rain in this cover, isn't he?
Titled '無名英雄 Rendy' (which supposed to mean 'Rendy the Unknown Warrior'), this lifestyle magazine which features Rendy on the cover will be available from September 18 onwards.
In the magazine, Rendy talks about his experience at the Beijing Olympics and various aspects of his life.
Hopefully I'll be able to grab two copies (one for you, Esther!) here in KL.
By the way, here's the article in Chinese from his website.

Maria Sharapova's Malfunction Wardrobe?

Recently Maria Sharapova not only unveiled her limited edition and overpriced Canon PowerShot Diamond Collection but also her one-armed dress. Perhaps it has something to do with her shoulder injury which prevents her from participating in the U.S. Open.
At the event, five of the PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital ELPH cameras, designed in conjunction with Amosu, encrusted with 88 white diamonds totaling 2.22 carats, valued at approximately $10,000 and were to be awarded to lucky winners in sweepstakes.

Serena Williams heats up the summer in Ebony magazine

To keep her body in top condition, she indulges in scrumptious salads, which include feta cheese, candied walnuts and strawberries. “It’s too hot in the summer to cook, so I love to grill chicken and fish,” she adds.(Image via Ebony)
"I also love to grill vegetables and serve them chilled.”When asked about her rumored love interest, Common, Serena said, “I think he’s a great guy. He’s obviously a great artist who is timeless and classic. You can’t beat that. But I have to focus on tennis because that’s my goal in life.”

Maria Sharapova will wear Tiffany & Co at the French Open

It sure pays to be the world no. 1. Especially when you are Maria Sharapova. Login into her official site, you'll be greeted by Ms 'Shriek'apova and an expensive pair of Tiffany & Co earrings.
Tiffany & Co. has announced that Maria Sharapova, the world's top-ranked player in the WTA, will wear Tiffany designer Elsa Peretti's Wave earrings in 18K gold at the French Open.
In addition to the jewelry, Tiffany will also accessorize Sharapova's custom French Open tennis dress. The "Paris dress," by Nike is a 1920s-inspired design that reflects her dynamic sense of style.
"Maria Sharapova is a longtime friend of Tiffany and a champion on and off the court," said Linda Buckley, vice president, worldwide public relations. "It gives us great pleasure to accent her on-court look with earrings that epitomize both the quality of her championship play and Tiffany's reputation for design excellence."The partnership will extend for the next two years and will cover the four Grand Slam Tennis events: The French Open, Wimbledon, and the US and Australian Open.
Seems like a good and confident year for Sharapova. However that doesn't mean that she will win at Roland Garros. I believe the Serbian girls (Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic) have better chance to capture the French Open.

Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong & their LV sling bags
Okay, the mysterious sling bags used by Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong that I posted on March 24 is finally solved. Apparently I missed The Star's R.AGE issue in March 29 which mentioned the messenger bags they always carry around with them.
Earlier on, in search of the bag's identity I even emailed to LV but the customer service support centre in Asia Pacific couldn't confirm as the pictures were quite unclear. I think they don't want to make a mistake by claiming that that's their bags.
According to Boon Heong in The R.AGE, the Louis Vuitton messenger bags were bought in Switzerland and it's RM1000 cheaper than in Malaysia. Boon Heong got himself a brown one while KKK has a light grey and cream version.
Ooh, I want an LV messenger bag too. Boon Heong's version is not bad. But too bad I can only afford the Petaling Street version which of course I'm not interested at all.
Go to this link and read the complete article. (Credit: photos taken from The R.AGE website)
Interesting Hot!
Florida is one of the most well known and popular cities as beach destination in tourists. It is observed that many travelers in Florida are using flight track during their flights to track their plane which tells that where their flight may be. Many travelers prefers travel trailer and parked in it as many food and wine as they want. In Caribbean hotels for sale is common practice because of their heavy returns many investors are always willing to pay very high for them. The Caribbean is a great place to visit and to get the enjoyment of lifetime with caribbean vacation packages is really memorable experience of life.

koo kien keat & tan boon heong and their love for sling bags
Do you realize that our badminton champs Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong like to carry their sling bags where ever they go?
I'm not sure if it's because of their sponsor request or whether it has to do with their sense of fashion? And they especially like the chequered bags. Anyone has any idea what brand is that?

project runway 3 - where's the good fashion and integrity?
I've been watching Project Runway (PR) since the first season. I love the show just like what I love about the Amazing Race. PR is a serious competition where real talent wins and you don't see drama like other reality tv shows.
However, PR begins to change its direction this season. I'm fed up with all the arguments and the fact that the producers are eliminating the 'good' people and keeping the 'bad' ones. I'm so mad when Alison was kicked off from the show in the "Waste Not, Want Not" challenge. Vincent was supposed to be eliminated. His model could barely walk in that long dress (it doesn't look like one). Perhaps the producers loved his antique with Angela. And I have no idea how come Angela is still in this competition despite her hideous talent.
PR, please cut the drama and focus more on how the designers do their sketches, pattern drafting, pinning, cutting, sewing, fitting, etc.

project runway 3 - 5 days a week
Can you believe it that Channel 11 Discovery Travel & Living is showing Project Runway (PR) 3 every weekday since Monday @ 9.00 p.m.? How I wish I don't need to wait every week for The Amazing Race (both US and Asia version) and America's Next Top Model.
I don't know much about fashion but at least after watching the show for two seasons I learn how to differentiate between a couture and a bad dress. PR is very realistic because you see real designers working very hard to create real dresses eventhough I'm not sure if it's possible for a designer to come up with a high fashion dress in two days.

So far, my favourite designers on PR3 has to be Jeffery and Alison. Although Jeffery was bottom two last night, almost got eliminated, the judges loved him because they could see 'Santino' in him. During his audition on Monday's show, I thought his design was great, very rock 'n' roll and over-the-top. And Alison, the pretty blond girl, she has an impressive and detailed portfolio but I can't remember what's her design last night.
Looking forward to tonight's show.
