Mahesh Bhupathi tweets picture of Mascos Baghdatis semi naked on the massage table
It's not every day you get to see players in their locker rooms or half naked on the massage table.
Doubles specialist Mahesh Bhupathi tweeted a picture of daddy Marcos Baghdatis half naked on the massage table getting a good treatment not only from one Australian Open staff but three!
Which tennis player would you like to massage?

Tennis newlyweds: Marcos Baghdatis and Karolina Sprem get married!
I read about the marriage between Marcos Baghdatis and fellow tennis player Karolina Sprem from Marija's Women's Tennis Blog .
The two tennis players tied the knot in a fairy tale wedding complete with horse carriage witnessed by friends and family.
The wedding took place at the Trakoscan castle in the bride's native Croatia.

Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray display football skills to aid Japan relief
Here are the photos of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and friends in a charity soccer match to support the relief effort in Japan.
Other players who joined this effort were Kei Nishikori, Andy Murray, Fernando Verdasco, Richard Gasquet, Feliciano Lopez, Viktor Troicki, Marcos Baghdatis, David Ferrer, Jurgen Melzer, etc.
Murray and Baghdatis scored, but the tennis players lost to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers professional team.
If you are thinking of contributing to this relief effort too, please visit this website and bid on something for a good cause.
This auction site was put up by Nishikori to raise funds for the Red Cross to help victims in Japan.
They will continue to fill the site with items as players and events continue to donate.

2010 Malaysian Open Tennis Tournament
We're just 1.5 months away from the 2010 Malaysian Open Tennis Tournament!
I was at the press conference recently to witness the launching and players announcement.
So far Robin Soderling, Nikolay Davydenko, Tomas Berdych, David Ferrer, Mikhail Youzhny, Nicolas Almagro, Marcos Baghdatis, Lleyton Hewitt and Rendy Lu Yen-Hsun are the confirmed line-up who will headline the USD947,750 prize money tournament.
I've uploaded the players message video which features Baghdatis, Youzhny, Soderling and Ferrer.
The ATP 250 tournament is scheduled to take place from September 25 to October 3, at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil.
I'm looking forward to meeting Rendy Lu again.
Together with some fans, we're planning to make a banner to welcome him when he arrives in Malaysia and of course to support him throughout this tournament.
The line-up are strong but who knows he will grab his first ATP 250 title here ;-) Drop me an email if you're interested to join us!

Rafael Nadal goes green to win
I can't believe I still haven't write a single post about Rafael Nadal this week.
Do you like this green polo shirt and chequered navy blue shorts? I think this is his best gear so far after he ditched those sleeveless shirts and pirate pants.
After a successful start against Marcos Baghdatis on Tuesday, which he won 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, Nadal will play American James Blake in the second round tomorrow.
Hopefully this new gear will be his greencard to win a title in Beijing.

Rooting for Rendy Lu Yen-hsun at the Malaysian Open
I'll be attending the evening session matches at the PROTON Malaysian Open tonight.
I'm extremely excited about this as the tournament has one of the fastest tennis court surface.
Wild cards recipients Taylor Dent and Marcos Baghdatis will begin their first round match at 5PM.
Dent will face Andrey Golubev first and followed by Baghdatis against Rendy Lu Yen-hsun.
I attended the pressers held for Dent and Baghdatis yesterday. Dent was super confident of his chance and said he was 100% fit.
Meanwhile, it didn't look too good for Baghdatis who refused to think much about his opponent.
Earlier I was at the practice court and saw Rendy practicing with another wild card Joachim "Pim Pim" Johansson.

Marcos Baghdatis, Taylor Dent wild cards recipients for PROTON Malaysian Open
Marcos Baghdatis and Taylor Dent, ranked outside the top 100, have been given wild cards into the PROTON Malaysian Open main draw.
According to the tournament director, Nick Freyer, the third and final wild card will be decided in the next few days.
If this article published in the Malay Mail is true, the wild card could go to Malaysian player, Si Yew Ming.
However, based information that I've gathered at press conferences, Yew Ming would probably get a wild card to play in the qualifying rounds, which I think is fair and fine.
There's also a considerable buzz on the Internet that a particular player has accepted the third wild card, but I won't mention his name here. I'll just leave it to the tournament director to announce it later this week.
The tournament will kick off this weekend from Sept 26 to Oct 4 and will see a strong line-up of marquee players including Nikolay Davydenko, Fernando Verdasco, Lleyton Hewitt, Robin Soderling, Fernando Gonzalez, Gael Monfils, Tomas Berdych, and David Ferrer.

Marcos Baghdatis walks in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela
Marcos Baghdatis had the opportunity to visit the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg on Tuesday to understand the history of South African and the legacy created by Nelson Mandela.
Baghdatis and his team were all labelled as either white or non-white prior to entering the museum and forced to enter through separate doorways.
Meanwhile at the SA Tennis Open, Baghdatis eased into the quarterfinals and he will meet David Ferrer.

Baghdatis and his team were all labelled as either white or non-white prior to entering the museum and forced to enter through separate doorways.
“It’s weird you know, knowing that they separated people for everything."Then he was taken through a visual and physical explanation of the life of Nelson Mandala.
"They had different toilets, black people had toilets, white people had other toilets, but it was not only that, it was everything, beaches, houses, taxi queues, entrances, bus stops and mainly the black people suffered a lot and that’s sad to hear.”
“I can understand now why he is a hero to so many people."During the tour Baghdatis was also asked to take the walk of freedom, an experience that saw him choose a series of coloured sticks which represent various characteristics of Nelson Mandela’s life.
"The guy is an amazing person and whatever he wanted to and whatever he wanted to help those people he did it even if it meant death for him."
"He spent 30 years of his life in prison and he suffered a lot to maintain what he maintains today, and I have a lot of respect for him."
"I can understand now why people see him as a hero,” Baghdatis remarked.
Reflecting on his choice of sticks Baghdatis said “I chose loyalty because it’s always important to have loyalty to everything in life, courage I chose because showing courage is when you get the best out of you, and forgiveness because we have to forgive people that made mistakes and give them a second chance to make everything right for all the people that live this life and to leave a legacy that will not allow people to suffer like other people have”.Finally the tour ended with Baghdatis signing the museum’s visitor book, the same book which Mandela signed when the museum opened in 2001.
Meanwhile at the SA Tennis Open, Baghdatis eased into the quarterfinals and he will meet David Ferrer.

2009 ATP World Tour Player Calendar revealed
Tennis players never shy to practice shirtless.
But when it comes to photo shoot, some of them find unbuttoning their shirts for the 2009 ATP World Tour Player Calendar almost proved too much.
French photographer Corrine Dubreuil revealed, "Marcos Baghdatis (Mr April) was very shy at the beginning. He was not comfortable, so he told me he would only take off his shirt if everybody left the studio.
"When I started to take the photos, Marcos started to dance to the music and take off the shirt very slowly in a very sexy way, like a belly dance. When everybody returned, he did an Andrew Ilie or Pat Rafter by tearing his shirt to pieces!"
Baghdatis joined 13 other players from each region of the world for the shoot, from the camera savvy Tommy Robredo and Fernando Verdasco – who have both appeared naked in Cosmopolitan Magazine in support of the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign – to Tomas Berdych, Bob and Mike Bryan, Fernando Gonzalez, Tommy Haas, Ivan Ljubicic, Paul-Henri Mathieu, Juan Monaco, Paradorn Srichaphan, Dmitry Tursunov and Mikhail Youzhny.
Dubreuil shot the classic and striking monochrome photographs for the player calendar in Paris, during the ATP Masters Series event last year. Toutchai U-Bol was on hand to photograph Srichaphan in Bangkok.
"By far the most seductive player was Tursunov. He kept playing with my camera and flirting with the make-up artist Vinca! He was great and easy to shoot."
Check out Tursunov in the video! Sexy!
But Dubreuil's favourite is Verdasco. He said, "What a body! He got so involved in the shoot and knew exactly which photographs were the best."
Fans will be able to view the photographs at the W Hotel in Times Square, New York, during the US Open fortnight.
