5 Favourite Posts From the Past

Finally I'm going to do a tagged post by FL Sam.

Here are the rules for this meme:
1. Post 5 links to 5 of your previously written posts. The posts have to relate to the 5 key words given below.
2. Tag 5 other friends to do this meme. Try to tag at least 2 new acquaintances (if not, your current blog buddies will do) so that you get to know them each a little bit better.
3. Don't forget to read the archived post and leave comments.

Such simple rules to follow right? So here are my 5 links:

Live in Malaysia: Fedex vs Pistol Pete and Nadal vs Gasquet

Thanks to an anonymous reader, he/she informed me about the availability of the tickets for exhibition match Malaysia Independence Tennis Festival this coming November.

The first exhibition match is going to be between Rafael Nadal (yes!) and Richard Gasquet on November 20th at Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam. Price tickets range from RM83 to RM403. Kinda pricey but I think I'll just settle for RM83 seat if I don't get any free tickets from my Sis's friend. And probably I should invest on a good binocular.

Then there's this Clash of the Times between Roger Federer and Pete Sampras on November 22nd and tickets range from RM83 to RM443. I'm not sure if I wanna watch this match but catching a glimpse of Fedex and my former tennis idol, Pistol Pete, is going to be great.

For more information go to Ticketpro or call them at +603 7880 7999.

To go or not to go Indonesia...

... that is no longer a question.

I've cancelled my 4 days leave this morning. Supposed I'll be going to Solo/Yogjakarta this coming Monday together with my Sis. But after much persuasion from my parents and most importantly my Sis who is extremely worried about the situation in Indonesia after a series of earthquakes, we decided to call it off. Each of us just loss less than RM200 on the airport tax as the AirAsia flight tickets we purchased is zero ringgit.

Although Bengkulu, in the Sumatra Island is quite a distance away from central Java, I've decided not to take the risk due to last year's huge earthquake in Yogjakarta, which caused 5,782 deaths and almost 37,000 people injured. Earthquake is unpredictable disaster. The recent quakes might trigger quakes or tsunami in nearby places since they are located on the same platonic plate.

Well, seems like my dream to see the magnificent Borobudur in morning sunrise has to be put on hold
